The young lion cub Simba is destined to become King of the Pride Lands one day, but when his evil uncle tricks him, he flees his home and is left on his own. Accompanied by two unlikely friends, Simba starts anew. But when the weight of responsibility and a plea from the now ravaged Pride Lands find him years later, Simba must face his fears and fulfill his destiny.
