2025 Summer Camp Refund Policy
All refund requests must be made via email to info@encorestage.org.
Refund requests received through May 31, 2025:
100% of your tuition may be converted to a gift certificate. Tuition gift certificates are good for any future Encore class or camp, may be used by any member of your household, and never expire - OR – Full refund processed to your original form of payment, less a 10% non-refundable enrollment fee.
Refund requests received from June 1, 2025 through 2 weeks prior to your camp start date:
100% of your tuition may be converted to a gift certificate. Tuition gift certificates are good for any future Encore class or camp, may be used by any member of your household, and never expire - OR – 50% tuition refund.
Refund requests received less than 2 weeks prior to your camp start date:
100% of your tuition will be converted to a gift certificate. Tuition gift certificates are good for any future Encore class or camp, may be used by any member of your household, and never expire.
Gift Certificates (Credit Voucher) FAQs
– How do I redeem a gift certificate (credit voucher)?
You will receive an email from Encore’s enrollment system with your voucher redemption code. Use this code to enroll online via Encore’s website or call 703-548-1154 to register over the phone.
– For which programs can I use my gift certificate (credit voucher)?
Your Encore gift certificate (credit voucher) never expires! You can use it toward any future Encore class, holiday mini-camp, summer program, or workshop.
– Can I use my gift certificate (credit voucher) for another child in my household?
Yes! Your gift certificate (credit voucher) can be used toward the enrollment of any member of your household.
– Can I sell my gift certificate (credit voucher) to another family?
No. Gift Certificates (credit vouchers) cannot be sold or transferred to another family or individual. You can, if you desire, convert your gift certificate (credit voucher) into a full or partial tax-deductible donation to Encore Stage & Studio.
– Do I have to use the full value in one transaction?
No. The gift certificate (credit voucher) never expires and its value remains available on your account until it is spent.

Inclement Weather
Encore Stage & Studio follows the Arlington Public School System for closings. In the case of inclement weather, parents may check this section of our policies page for cancellation information.
Classes, Mini-Camps & Spring Break Camp
No refunds will be issued unless the class/camp is canceled due to low enrollment.
Private Lessons
Lessons must be canceled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance. Please copy both your instructor and info@encorestage.org on your notification. If a student is a “no show,” it will be counted against their remaining lessons. Unused/unscheduled lessons expire one year after the original date of purchase.
Scholarships and Fee Reductions
To ensure the participation of all interested students, Encore Stage & Studio offers partial scholarships for all of our classes and camps. Arlington County fee reductions are also honored. Virginia Commission for the Arts | Passport Program
Encore is a participating partner in the Virginia Commission for the Arts and Virginia Department of Health Passport Program, an arts access initiative. Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) card holders are eligible for free tickets to Encore productions and a 90% scholarship to classes and camps. Passport holders show their existing WIC cards, issued by VDH, to redeem the discount. No additional card required! Questions? Contact info@encorestage.org.
Late Pick-up
Parents will be assessed a $20.00 charge if a child is picked up 10 minutes after class ends and an additional $1.00 per minute thereafter. Please pick up on time.
Child Protection Policy
All full-time and part-time employees and all independent contractors of Encore Stage & Studio who interact with children (minors under the age of 18) are required to submit to a nationwide background investigation. The screening process is designed to maintain the high quality of our employees/contractors and eliminate potential employees/contractors who do not meet our standards. The primary purpose of the screening process is to promote safety for the students who participate in Encore Stage & Studio’s productions and education programs.
Photo/Video Release
Encore Stage & Studio reserves the right to use photos or video recordings taken during the course or a program or class for promotional purposes only. Such photos or videos may be used in print or online marketing materials.
Waiver of Liability/Hold Harmless Agreement
Encore Stage & Studio is committed to conducting all programs in a safe manner and strives to reduce risk to all of our participants. However, in choosing to participate in a program, students and parents must recognize that there is an inherent risk of injury. All families registering for a class, camp, or other Encore program agree to hold Encore Stage & Studio harmless in case of accident or injury.
In the event that a parent or emergency contact cannot be reached, parents further authorize Encore employees to administer first aid treatment and/or authorize medical treatment in accordance with the information provided on student emergency forms.
Code of Conduct Policy
In order to provide students with a safe and supportive environment, Encore Stage & Studio does not tolerate any form of physical or verbal abuse, or vandalism. Any behaviors found in violation of this policy will be addressed and the student may be asked to leave camp, and no refunds will be issued.
