For ages 12-15, this immersive camp experience will give students a glimpse of what it’s like to work as a theatre professional. Mornings are spent sharpening performance skills. In the afternoons, students put these skills into action, collaborating with other artists in the daily rehearsal process. Each camp production is led by Encore’s professional teaching artists, with the curriculum enhanced by workshops with guest artists. Past workshop topics have included stage combat, clowning, makeup design, and physical comedy. Students will have the opportunity to participate as either actors or designers/crew members as they channel their creative energy, talent, and enthusiasm into a production.
